Everything was going fine until my phone got into Emergency Mode(yellow screen) and suddenly, KDZ updater stopped responding and shut down. I started KDZ updater again but this time it was saying “PHONE WAS NOT FOUND” and the phone got stuck into all yellow screen with Emergency Mode!! written on it. I tried to remove the battery and then turned the phone on but it was only getting started in Emergency mode.
I thought my phone was bricked but after researching for some hours, I found a fix for that and my phone was alive again.
How to fix Bricked Lg Optimus One P500/Stuck on Emergency Mode loop
Step 1: Disable LG Virtual Modem from your computer. To do that, right click on My Computer on your desktop and click Manage. Now from the left-pane, select Device Manager. From the right side, Expand Modems and right click on LGE Virtual Modem and choose Disable. [Note: If you don't find LGE modem in device manager then skip this step]
Step 2: Remove the battery from your Phone and connect your phone with your computer via usb cable.
Step 3: Run KDZ Updater and select 3GQCT in Type and EMERGENCY in PhoneMode as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 4: Select KDZ file to which you want your phone to be updated to and finally hit Launch software update button.
Step 5: Please wait while your phone gets back to life.
